1. About...
The textures included in this pack are landscape textures based on Hubble
Space Telescope photographs by NASA. Get more such photographs here. The
included moonscape bonus texture is based on the "Future
Moonbase" series by John Frassanito and Associates. It looked
kind of like structures on Marathon's unconverted Deimos moon surface.
2. License
By the power invested in us for all the time we spent burning our retinas in
Adobe Photoshop, Corel PhotoPaint and other programs, we hereby grant anyone the
right to use all the textures included in this pack for their own Marathon
scenarios as long as the following conditions are fulfilled:
- You shall give credit to the creator(s) of the textures that will be used
- You shall not modify in any way the aforementioned textures
- You shall never, ever use any of these textures for boring scenarios
and/or texture packs with bad taste
"Slackers who fail to comply with these conditions will suffer the wart of
the W'rkncacnter, which involves a lot of physical and mental torture, starting
by being forced to listen the complete works of Ricky Martin, twice." -
Raul Bonilla
3. Installation
Place the "Revival 128x128 JPEG" directory into the M1A1 directory and the
"revival_128x128-jpeg.mml" file into the Scripts directory. To uninstall, proceed the other way
around by reversing the process. If you decide to use one of these new Alternate
Starscapes, simply copy the "revival_128x128-jpeg.mml" found in any of
the sub-directories into the Scripts directory. WARNING: This will
overwrite any existing "revival_128x128-jpeg.mml" file present in the
Scripts folder, so make sure you COPY the alternate script file instead of
moving it. That way, the script files (including the original script found
in the "original" sub-directory) will be preserved and you will be
able to change your M1A1 starscapes whenever you wish.
